Luc Germon (Niels Arestrup), a famous lawyer, thinks he has reached the pinnacle of fame when Gilles Fontaine (Patrick Bruel), one of France's most powerful businessmen, asks him to defend him. The businessman is suspected of having purchased a beautiful villa on the Côte d'Azur, the villa Caprice, in questionable circumstances. Humiliated and angry at being trapped, Fontaine counts on Germon's skill to help him out of this predicament. But a strange power relationship develops between the two men, who are basically allies. Who takes the advantage?
